Who Am I?

My name is Rob and I am an artist based in Leeds, U.K. I specialise in mandalas but hopefully not as you’ve seen them before. I like to incorporate different elements into my work to create pieces that are truly unique. My passion for art started when I was a kid as my Mum was and art teacher and really encouraged me to explore my talents. I kept up with my art throughout my school years up until my A-levels but then took the obligatory hiatus from art during my university years and studied languages because ‘everyone knows you can’t make being an artist into your career.’ However after studying for 4 years and always using art as a hobby on the side to keep me sane, I decided to start sharing my creations on Instagram. I never set out to be a mandala artist. I used to draw super detailed patterns and doodles when I should have been studying for my degree and then through the power of social media discovered they closely resembled ‘zentagle art’ and that’s how I discovered mandalas. My page grew over the years and eventually I decided to pursue art as a full time career. Now here I am many years later still creating my obsessively detailed patterns!

I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with numerous brands through my work and create art for people all over the world. From tattoo designs to large scale wall murals and fabric patterns!
